AED PROGRAM :: REGISTER YOUR AED
Interaction with Local Emergency Responders
An organization interested in establishing
a PAD Program within Arlington may contact the Arlington Fire Department
for guidance. Your organization may select its own physician to provide
Medical Oversight. At a minimum, the Arlington Fire Department will
provide technical guidance, including a copy of this document to any
organization interested in establishing a PAD Program.
Registration with the City of Arlington
MUST be made once AEDs are placed in a facility or within an
organization.
These notifications enhance the interaction with local
emergency responders. This information is also entered into Emergency
Dispatch computers so that site responders can be encouraged to retrieve
and use the AED in the event of a cardiac arrest.
