A Gift of Literacy
Library
Reading Program Wants Tutors
|
 Yoko
Matsumoto is looking for a few good
tutors. The City of Arlington Literacy
Coordinator wants to build a stable of
volunteers to help adults
improve reading skills. The goal? "At
least 150 people," Matsumoto said.
Tutors provide one-on-one or small group
sessions for people who want to
improve their English reading and
writing skills. It's flexible. It
depends on your schedule. The Arlington
Reads Literacy Program is based at East
Arlington Branch Library but instruction
can occur anywhere.
