CODE RANGER PROGRAM

Become a Code Ranger and help reinvigorate neighborhoods by attending the upcoming training class being held on Saturday, April 17, 2010. For more information, and to register for the upcoming class, contact Field Operations Manager, Michael Thomas at code@arlingtontx.gov or by telephone at 817-459-6777.

The City of Arlington Code Ranger program was implemented in January 2007, and designed to foster civic engagement by encouraging citizen connectedness to their neighborhood and city government via hands-on participation. This initiative offers citizens the opportunity to directly partner with city staff by identification of deteriorating neighborhood conditions and thereby improving their neighborhood’s integrity. The Code Ranger program serves as an effective and efficient catalyst to strengthen the bond between citizens and code compliance staff, and a key component to make Arlington more safe, strong and attractive.

Code Ranger Feedback

The Community Services Code Compliance Division is continually working to strengthen its partnership with the community. We are requesting Code Rangers to take 2 to 3 minutes to complete an evaluation of the program to help ensure that we provide excellent service and a positive experience for Code Rangers.
