Valkyn was adopted from the Arlington Animal Shelter by shelter
volunteer, Gillian Luszik. In October of last year Valkyn came into
the shelter as a stray and he was extremely malnourished. Gillian
Luszik adopted him hours before he was scheduled to be euthanized.
Gillian proclaims Valkyn to be the best dog she has ever had. Valkyn
has gained his weight back, protected Gillian from a burglar, and he
has woken her up after an accident where she had passed out. Valkyn
loves going to the dog park, being lazy and sleeping on the bed with
Gillian.
