Note: Please help these “shelter favorites” find a forever home. The following animals have all been at the shelter for more than 30 days! Each one is truly deserving of a second chance at happiness!

RANDAL, ID# 9306989, DA-14
Male, (will be Neutered,) One year–18 months-old, Basset Hound/Lab mix, (48 LB)
Current on vaccinations

Randal was found by a caring citizen and brought to the shelter in the hope of reuniting him with his rightful owner. Unfortunately, that did not occur. This loveable, short-legged fellow soon made his way to the front adoption area, and then he fell ill to a cough. Once again, staff recognized that this fellow was worth saving and moved him to Isolation so he could get the medical attention he needed to get well. And now Randal is ready to take his place back in our front adoption area and better yet, go HOME! Randal has a “kiss” for everyone he meets! He’s short and stocky with a heart as big as his head! Truly a “lover boy” Randal would make an ideal canine companion for just about anyone! Please some to meet this “unique” and happy-go-lucky boy in person, once you do, you won't go home alone!

REX, ID# 9385474, DA-6
Male, (will be Neutered), One year–18 months-old, Rottweiler, (approx. 50–60 LB)
Current on vaccinations

This young rottie was found wandering the world alone. When Rex first arrived at the shelter he was shy and nervous. Once his hold time was up, he was scheduled for euthanasia. But then staff noticed that Rex had relaxed and had overcome his initial fears. His short tail began wagging back and forth and his pleading eyes asked for attention. Everyone was happy to comply with Rex’s wish and Rex soon had a new set of friends! Rex LOVES his stuffed toys! He has become affectionate and playful and eager to make new human friends! Please come to meet Rex in person, spend some time with him; Rex will charm his way into your heart just as he has charmed his way into ours! Rex deserves a new home where he will be treated as a family member!

BO BOY, ID# 9244819, CA-17
Male, (will be Neutered), Two years-old, Domestic Long Hair, (9 LB)
Current on vaccinations

Bo Boy was surrendered to the shelter because his owner could no longer afford to care for him. He immediately won the hearts of staff and volunteers and earned a spot in our front adoption area. Sadly, while awaiting a new home, Bo Boy came down with the sniffles! But staff believed that Bo Boy was truly worth saving; they moved him into Isolation where he was treated with antibiotics and now he is once again healthy and available for adoption! Staff has put their heart and soul into saving this affectionate and playful fellow, please don't let allow their efforts to be wasted, help us save Bo Boy’s life! Bo Boy is extremely handsome and his long, silky fur would reduce anyone’s stress level by just sitting with him and petting him. Come to visit Bo Boy in person and spend some time getting to know him. Bo Boy will not only brighten your day, but your life!
